What Is the Women’s Fund?
The Women's Fund, established in 2005, is a donor-advised fund of the Topeka Community Foundation that promotes women's leadership in philanthropy.
The Women’s Fund of Topeka is dedicated to empowering women and reinforcing their role as philanthropists in our community. By fostering women's leadership in philanthropy, we aim to multiply the impact of individual charitable contributions through a collective approach. Our vision is not only to enhance the value of each donation but also to inspire a new generation of philanthropists, ones who understand and appreciate the profound positive change that can be achieved when we come together for a common cause.
Over the past 19 years, The Women’s Fund has awarded more than $600,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations, supporting solutions focused on access to healthy food, affordable housing, arts programming, financial literacy, and physical and mental health programs for women and children.
Half of each contribution is used for grants while the other half is held in an endowment to ensure The Women’s Fund has an enduring positive impact on the community for years to come.
